Arrival at Kilimanjaro

You shall be met on arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport by your Safari driver guide who will take you through a pre Safari briefing and later transfer to Arusha Serena Hotel where you have been booked for the next two nights on bed and breakfast basis.

Moshi

After breakfast, depart the Hotel at 9:00 am and drive for 3 hours from Arusha to Serval Wildlife Sanctuary located in the Siha District of Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. The park is home to a variety of animals including lions, monkeys, giraffes, elands, zebras, and ostriches.

This tour offers unforgettable interactions with these free-roaming animals. Also, you will have an opportunity to explore an ecosystem with over 300 hand-planted endemic flora that directly benefits the exquisite animals that reside within Serval Wildlife. At the same time, you will enjoy the mesmerizing views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro.

You would be served with Hot lunch at the Sanctuary. 1600hrs depart Moshi and drive back to Arusha to arrive in time to freshen up for dinner

Dinner and overnight – Arusha Serena Hotel

Fly to Serengeti

After breakfast, you shall be transferred to Arusha Airport for your schedule 1000hrs flight to Serengeti where you shall be met by your Safari driver guide and drive to the Lodge to arrive in time for lunch.

Serengeti National Park

Full day game viewing drives in Central Serengeti National Park. Apart from the Selous, this is the largest of all the Parks in Tanzania, summed up as 'one of the most unique areas in the world'. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale that has no parallel anywhere in the world.

Even during the height of the migration towards the Masai Mara, there is a huge concentration of plains game in the Reserve, mainly concentrated around the watering places, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work.

Serengeti to Ndutu

After a leisure breakfast at the Lodge, depart Central Serengeti and drive to Ndutu Region. Game viewing enroute to arrive in time for lunch at Lake Masek Tented Lodge.

Days 6/7 – Lake Ndutu Region

Two full days at Ndutu Region. Experience morning/afternoon game viewing drives.

At the end of December, the great migration usually arrives with its 2 million animals in Ndutu. Wildebeests, zebras and gazelles come here to give birth to their calves and stay here until April. Thousands of animals are born every day from December to March. The grass in this area is rich in nutrients for young animals. And because it is short, the adults can spot approaching predators from far. It is therefore a safe place to raise young zebras and wildebeests.

Lake Ndutu Region

Two full days at Ndutu Region. Experience morning/afternoon game viewing drives.

At the end of December, the great migration usually arrives with its 2 million animals in Ndutu. Wildebeests, zebras and gazelles come here to give birth to their calves and stay here until April. Thousands of animals are born every day from December to March. The grass in this area is rich in nutrients for young animals. And because it is short, the adults can spot approaching predators from far. It is therefore a safe place to raise young zebras and wildebeests. Ndutu is a very beautiful region and rich in wild animals. In addition, it is the only nature reserve in Tanzania where you are allowed to drive off-road. This allows you to get very close to the animals. Many predators are attracted by the calving happening here and roam this vast plain: lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs

Ndutu to Ngorongoro

Breakfast at leisure. Later depart Ndutu Region and drive to Ngorongoro, game viewing enroute via Olduvai.

The Olduvai Gorge Museum is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Northern Tanzania on the edge of the Olduvai Gorge. The museum was founded by Mary Leakey and is now under the jurisdiction of the Tanzanian Government's Department of Cultural Antiquities and is managed by the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. It is a museum dedicated to the appreciation and understanding of the Olduvai Gorge and Laetoli fossil sites.

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge:

The Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is built onto the rim of this amazing natural phenomenon, a stunning plant and local creeper covered stone lodge where guests co-exist in perfect harmony with the surrounding natural environment and wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, descend to the floor of the crater for game viewing drives.  Often described as the ‘Eighth’ wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro crater is so spectacular, a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 animals, including the black rhino. It is also a conservation area inhabited by the Masai tribe.

Picnic lunch will be served at one of the designated picnic sites on the crater floor

As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim, ascend and drive to the Lodge to arrive in time to refresh for dinner

Ngorongoro to Tarangire

After a leisure breakfast, depart Ngorongoro and drive to Tarangire National Park. Game viewing enroute to arrive in time for lunch at Maromboi Tented Lodge.

Tarangire National Park:

Located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere.  The majority of travellers to the region either miss out Tarangire altogether or venture into the park for a matter of hours - leaving swathes of Tarangire virtually untouched.

Fly to Zanzibar

Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive to Arusha for your schedule 1230hrs flight to Zanzibar. Met on arrival to Abeid Karume International Airport by our representative and transfer to Zanzibar Serena Hotel where you have been booked for the next three nights on bed and breakfast basis.

1500hrs depart the Hotel for evening guided walk Stone Town tour.

Zanzibar

Depart the Hotel after breakfast for Prison Island and Spice tour

See the giant land tortoises of Prison Island, or Changuu Island, on a half-day trip from Zanzibar, with time to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe. Just a 30-minute boat ride from Stone Town, Prison Island has a beautiful beach, clean water, and fascinating history as a yellow fever quarantine station. Both morning and afternoon departures to Prison Island are available, and the trip includes hotel transfers and all entrance fees.

Zanzibar

The coral reefs of Zanzibar are some of the most abundant in the world with over 500 species of marine species. Zanzibar is a dive location where there is something for everyone: snorkelers, the macro lovers and the deep divers.

With over 30 dive sites that include, reef, wall and wreck diving, Zanzibar is more than just a beach island to relax. The strong currents of Levan Bank are a haven for big game fish such as kingfish, trevally and tuna.

Departure

After breakfast you shall be transferred to the Ferry station for your schedule Boat to Dar es Salaam, met on arrival and transfer to Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel for day rooms and dinner.

Later in the evening transfer to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your schedule homebound flight
